TAP is one of seven finalists for the award “Best Use of Social Media to Drive Customer Service” in the prestigious SimpliFlying Awards for Excellence in Social Media.
SimpliFlying.com is considered one of the most important blogs on aviation, and its Twitter account dedicated to airlines is one of the most influential of its kind, with more than 10,000 followers.
Online voting is currently underway and runs until 25 August, and the public’s votes count 50% towards the final decision. The awards ceremony will be held inAmsterdam on 3 October 2012.
Once again, TAP is being recognised for its excellent work in the area of customer service using social media, with approximately 252,657 “likes” registered on its Facebook page.
