In March 2005 Groundforce was launched resulting from the privatization of ground-based TAP Portugal Customer Care Services in 2003.

Since then the company has come to consolidate its position of importance in the handling sector on a national level providing services to most of the airline companies that fly to Portugal including practically all national airline carriers.

Groundforce is based in truth around the quality and experience of its more than 2900 employees that provide services at Portugal’s main airports – Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Funchal and Porto Santo.

Groundforce Portugal intends to become the most reliable handling operator in the market offering its customers the highest standards of service quality with its Mission to be a high quality service provider in a modern competitive society in which it is fundamental that interested parties are satisfied and:
