Star Alliance Network was created in 1997 as the truly first global airline alliance, offering to the customer a world-wide dimension and a smooth travel experience throughout all the destinations.

The Star Alliance has received the award for the Market Leadership, attributed in 2008 by the “Air Transport World”, was elected the best alliance for the airlines by the Magazine “Business Traveller” in 2003, 2006 and 2007 and equally by the Skytrax in 2003, 2005 and 2007.
